Wet Job creative workshop

For school groups in 4th, 5th and 6th grade

We present to you the remarkable scuptures by French artist Camille Henrot. She creates stunning surprising images, using different materials that blend into each other. Elegant shapes, natural elements, even pieces of discarded electronics. What approach did the artist use? Why did she combine these peculiar materials and what did she aim to express in her work? Find out during this interactive creative workshop for 4th, 5th and 6th grade (primary education).

First the pupils get to know the guide, after which they test their own creative skills during a group assignment in the park. Afterwards the whole class gets to roll up their sleeves to create their own cool scuptures. Preferably, as ecologically as possible, just like Camille Henrot herself. We use clay, wood, marlstone and other environmental friendly materials. Why not uses pieces of “garbage” as well? Like real artists we design our own creative works, in small groups or by ourselves. With a solid form, or not…
