Art and Margin

1 December 2006 until 30 January 2007

With works by sick, mentally disabled or isolated artists who are not well-known on the professional circuit.

This exhibition is part of the Art and Margin exhibition of the Brussels centre for research and the dissemination of outsider art, which promotes these artists.

At the end of 2006 and in early 2007, the Middelheim Museum exhibited works by Heide De Bruyne, which were confronted with a work by the Italian sculptor Alik Cavaliere, entitled The wind never chased green leaves... (1963-1964), which is part of the museum’s collection.

The works were exhibited in the Braem Pavilion.
