Museumnacht celebrates its 20th edition this year, and we’re joining the festivities with a surprising programme. From rolling inside giant spheres to making zines and watching unique short films under the stars, there’s plenty to discover.
Programme:
- De Beulingfeesten in De Nor
- Short film programme inspired by Monster Chetwynd
- Roll in a tear
- Speed tour in the exhibition
- Zine-making workshop

De Beulingfeesten in De Nor
Artist Dennis Tyfus hosts a special evening in his social sculpture De Nor. From 7 pm onwards, a range of musicians and performers will take the stage—artists you are unlikely to encounter on more conventional stages.

Open-Air Short Films
Especially for Museumnacht, De Cinema has curated an eclectic short film programme inspired by the playful, anarchic world of Monster Chetwynd. And the best part? The films will be screened outdoors. In collaboration with De Cinema and De Kern.

Roll in a tear
At Tears (2021) by Monster Chetwynd, you can move around inside large transparent zorbs. Step into a sphere and become part of the artwork in the most rolling way possible!

Close-ups
Join a guide for a compact 30-minute dive into the exhibition by Monster Chetwynd. Discover how art can open up space for emotion, imagination, and resilience.

Make Your Own Zine
In this creative workshop, you’ll make your own zine: a mini-magazine filled with drawings, collages, ideas, and stories. Location: Shadow Animals Discovery Lab.
