The pleasant museum café serves MIKA’s original sandwiches, delicious hot dishes, winter salads, fresh soups, various suggestions, pastries and refreshing drinks. On sunny days, sit down on the lovely terrace which offers a stunning view of the museum park.
Prefer a picnic? Why not? You can also pick up some of the dishes from the café and enjoy them in the park. You cannot, however, bring your own drinks or packed lunch and eat it in the museum café or on the terrace.
In wintertime, besides the café in the castle, the Middelheim Museum also has a winter chalet out on the terrace. It is open every Sunday from 12 noon until 6 p.m., and has braziers, Christmas trees, mulled wine, hot cocoa, jazz and jenever.
