REMARKABLE EXHIBITIONS, PRESENTATIONS AND ACQUISITIONS

Look back at a series of significant moments including the group exhibition ‘Experience Traps’ as part of the Antwerp Baroque 2018 city festival, ‘Some Time’ by British artist Richard Deacon with the refabrication of the key piece ‘Nevermind’, the quirky ‘My Niece's Pierced Knees’, the first solo museum show of Antwerp artist Dennis Tyfus, the acquisition of ‘Diamond Shaped Room with Yellow Light’ by the American artist Bruce Nauman, the silver palm trees from ‘Cluster’ by Belgian artist Peter Rogiers and much more.

EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCES

There were also notable moments in the form of performances. How about ‘Pomegranate Promenade’ (2018) by Monster Chetwynd, where spectators in a zorb (a large transparent plastic ball) were guided by costumed artists along a trail of mini experience traps, Erwin Wurm’s 'Performative sculptures' with special guest Walter van Beirendonck, the temporary interactive clay pit by Gelitin or the series of performances by Ria Pacquée and guests.
